Be like coffee beans. When coffee beans are placed in water, the water gradually becomes coffee. It’s not an instant change, but a consistent influence. The beans changed the flavor, color, and texture of its environment by simply being patient with the water. Good coffee takes time.

Spoon believes that we all are coffee beans, looking to discover what kind of bean we are, all while, waiting for the right water to be placed in. He believes our purpose is to be a positive impact and influence on the people and environments we find ourselves in through compassionate service.

As a coach, Spoon desires to equip and empower clients to be their best and healthiest selves. He seeks to walk alongside clients to help develop their mind, body, soul, and spirit for the betterment of self and relationships. Spoon serves on the AHA Coaching and Consulting staff under the training and consultation of Jenna Mountain and Kimberly Galindo.

Spoon offers coaching to individuals utilizing a unique growth and change process, focusing on the present and future. This process develops clients towards growth, acknowledging that the negative assumptions we hold are often the root of why we are immune to desired changes.

Spoon is a Texas native wrapping up his doctorate in Counselor Education at Texas Tech University. He offers one-on-one coaching services utilizing Harvard’s Immunity to Change (ITC) mapping process.
